I was looking through some of the posts I have put up on The Gipsiewonderer and decided to put a few of my favorites here to make it easier for you to read them - especially since the number of posts since I started my blog on August 26th [my birthday] is now over 3 digits. Don't get me wrong I'd still appreciate if you go over and click a few likes or even follow me - a comment or two would be nice.

October 5, 2014 by Martha Bowman in all we need is love, in memory and tagged anyone can write, BIRTHDAY, carrying on, crossroads, death, MEMORIES, transcending
Tomorrow would have been Ron’s 69th birthday which is why you see the re-post of I’ll Meet You At The Crossroads in a previous post today and also the reason for this post. It’s not exactly a poem more like a conversation with the man I’ve loved for more then 30 years. HAPPY BIRTHDAY RON.

I walked into the clearing and sat down, “the red flowers are very tasty if you’re hungry” she said munching on one.
“Where am I?” I asked.
“The Gathering Place of The Goddess for all those who have awakened to The Deep Peace of Enlightenment, others will be joining us soon” she answered and nudged the babies with her nose sending them off to play.

Alice’s Visit
September 30, 2014 by Martha Bowman in From My (Sometimes) Demented Mind, original writings and tagged Alice, anyone can write, bonkers, crazy, dreaming, Mad Hatter.cat
I woke up about 3am to find ALICE sitting at my computer desk. I rubbed my eyes and blinked a couple of times but she was still there typing away at something.
“OK— I am either dreaming or I’ve gone totally insane.” I said out loud where upon Alice reached over and pinched me.
“Ouch” I yelped.

Back in the early 60s I was like every other small town kid I knew. I had an American Pie in the sky, flag waving mentality and nothing could convince me this wasn’t the best country in the world. I was a child of the “New Frontier” (a phrase JFK often used) and the world was beautiful.

By The Hem Of My Skirts; With Help From A Case of Excedrin
August 28, 2014 by Martha Bowman in I'm really going and tagged advice, crone, getting ready, gypsy, planning the trip, reading, traveling, witch
When I decided to get this ‘Bohemian Dream’ (see definition below) out of my head and put it into action I had no idea what I was doing or even where to start. Would my Taurus even pull a trailer or camper? Could I find one I could afford that would have enough space to actually live in? Was it safe for a woman my age to travel alone? Could I live on the road on my social security and if not how would I support myself? These were only a few of the questions rolling around in my head. I decided maybe a few of you out there might be facing a similar situation so here are a few pointers so maybe you won’t need to buy Excedrin by the case like I did.
